Emma founded Monday Matcha in 2024 with a simple vision: to offer authentic, shade-grown matcha with the perfect balance of flavor and health benefits.

After years of energy crashes, caffeine sensitivity, and nervousness from coffee’s rapid highs and deep lows, she was recommended to try matcha – a smoother and more sustainable source of energy. The difference was immediate: better focus, less stress, and a calmer mind.

Her journey began in Japanese cafés in London, where she realized that high-quality matcha was hard to find – and in her home country, Sweden, where she grew up, it was even worse.

Due to the lack of regulation outside Japan, many cafés serve bitter, nutrient-poor matcha, as the price difference between low and high quality is like night and day.

Driven by a passion for quality and well-being, Emma created Monday Matcha – for everyone looking for lasting energy and beauty from the inside out.
