Monday Matcha was founded by Emma in 2024 after one simple frustration — most matcha in Scandinavia just wasn’t good enough.
Too bitter. Too dull. Often overpriced. Often old.
After struggling with energy crashes and caffeine sensitivity from coffee, switching to high-quality matcha changed everything — calmer focus, steady energy, no highs and lows.
But the difference came down to one thing: quality.
By the time most matcha reaches your cup, after layers of middlemen, much of what makes it special is already lost — in both flavour and nutrients.
Once you notice the difference — in colour, taste, and how it makes you feel — you can’t unsee it.
So we went to the source.
We partner directly with small, family-run farms in Yame, Japan — focusing on freshness, craftsmanship, and long-term relationships.
No shortcuts. No unnecessary markups.
